Sandey was hired as a temporary support to a vacant Controller position at GLG Life Tech Corporation in March 2008. Her main task was to prepare the first quarter 2008 interim financial statements.

Sandey entailed maintaining our books and records, preparing unaudited financial statements, and ensuring that our corporate reporting was kept up to date. Although Sandey was unfamiliar with public company accounting at the time she was hired, she was able to learn and understand what was required to ensure that the financial statements that she was preparing were presentable to the independent auditors of the company.
Sandey responsibilities include preparing monthly financial statements, quarterly reports to government funding agencies, preparing budgets and working papers for the annual audit.
